Madonna's live return be broadcast live on the internet.
The superstar will play live for one night only at New York's Roseland Ballroom on 30 April, and the gig will be broadcast live to US viewers on MSN.com. The concert will then be later re-broadcast on 15 May for the rest of the world.
Tickets for the show will only be available to customers of US communications giant Verizon, while other fans will need to line up outside the Roseland to receive tickets on a first come basis.
The concert will mark the first time Madonna has performed songs from her forthcoming album 'Hard Candy', which is released on 26 April.
